James Suckling (97-98)
This is so umami with sea urchin character that gives you sea salt and dried seaweed aromas and flavors. The integrity and richness is so impressive with an exotic character, yet it is so classic and fine in structure. 13.5% alcohol. 70% whole cluster fermentation. 40% cabernet franc, 35% cabernet sauvignon and 25% merlot. Vinous - Antonio Galloni (93-96)
The 2022 Clos Haut-Peyraguey is laced with scents of tangerine oil, mint, white flowers and ripe green pear. Creamy and unctuous, but not at all heavy, the 2022 is showing beautifully today. All the elements are so well balanced in this classy, understated Sauternes from Bernard Magrez. Yields were just 9 hectoliters per hectare. Tasted two times. In BondSG$1,660.88 -
Jeb Dunnuck (98-100)
One of the finest wines to ever pass my lips, the 2022 Château Cos D'Estournel is a monument in the making. Based on 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, and 1% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this saturated ruby/purple-hued Saint-Estèphe offers a full-bodied, massive, opulent style as well as perfumed red, blue, and black fruits, ample spice, chocolate, graphite, and lead pencil-like aromatics, a stacked mid-palate, flawless balance, and a monster of a finish. An improved version of the 2009 (if that's possible), this is a legendary wine in the making. Hats off to Michel Reybier and technical director Dominique Arangoïts.In BondSG$2,005.00 -

Wine Advocate (93-95)
A blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon, the 2022 de Fieuzal Blanc exhibits aromas of spring flowers, lemon oil, al dente pear and peach with flinty hints. Juicy, round and deep, fleshy and fresh with a medium to full-bodied palate, it has a slightly phenolic finish. The aging process should reduce the slight austerity and bring more flesh and substance. In BondSG$460.00 -

Vinous - Neal Martin (95-97)
The 2022 Doisy-Daëne has an intense bouquet that blossoms in the glass: dried honey, quince and honeysuckle, with light saffron scents emerging with time. The palate is brimming with tension, razor-sharp acidity, quince and tangerine, leading to a slightly peachy, vivacious finish. What a wonderful "DD" from Jean-Jacques Dubourdieu. In BondSG$1,660.88 -

The Wine Cellar Insider (98-100)
Inky dark in color, the wine exudes blackberries, smoke, currants, nutmeg, flowers, Cuban cigar wrapper, black cherries, smoke, and spice in the nose. On the palate, the wine is dense, and intense, yet light on its feet with seemingly, endless waves of deep, black and red, spicy fruits. There is symmetry, balance, and freshness on the palate. The tannins are present, silky, and refined. The wine is silky, supple, creamy, and seamless in the finish, which moves from black fruits, to red fruits and back to black fruits with spice, and accents of mint and a touch of citrus at the very end of the finish, which lingers for at least 60 seconds. Ducru Beaucaillou has been on an unstoppable roll since 2009. Produced from blending 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot, 14% ABV, 3.8 pH. Picking took place September 7 -- October 4.In BondSG$1,916.00 -

Wine Advocate (93-95)
Made of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the Les Champs Libres 2022 Blanc reveals aromas of verbena, lemon oil, kumquat, jasmine, spring flowers and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and incisive, it’s built around bright, racy acids and has an ultra-refined texture along with a resonant, perfumed finish. This gorgeous Les Champs Libres represents the essence of what can be produced with grapes coming from a great limestone terroir that also benefit from the impressive expertise of the Guinaudeau family. In BondSG$1,660.88 -

The first vintage with Sandrine Garaby, formerly of Chateau d'Yquem in charge is the winner you knew it would be. The wine is intense, rich, deep, and manages to balance its layers of roasted, ripe, and over ripe pineapples, mango, candied orange, vanilla, almond, and apricots perfectly. The fruits are slathered with honey, yet they retain that all important freshness as well. Drink from 2025-2050.In BondSG$405.00 -
