18 January 2023How to Acquire and Manage a Fine Wine Portfolio
There has never been more interest in fine wine / whisky as an alternative asset class. In this video Cru World Wine co-founder and CEO Jeremy Howard discusses the four options for how private clients can acquire and manage a fine wine portfolio. The options are: i) a self-managed "DIY" portfolio, ii) an "expert-assisted" portfolio, iii) a "managed portfolio" and iv) a "managed whisky cask portfolio". These different options are all offered by Cru World Wine. Howard also walks through some basic strategies for day to day portfolio management, and shows how cost effective it is to maintain a fine wine portfolio today. The cost of storing Cru's Recommended Portfolio is just 9bps per annum (if stored in Bordeaux). This is cheaper than storing physical gold or silver, and cheaper even that many ETFs.
