The 2017 du Tertre is a very pretty wine. Succulent red cherry, dried flowers, mint, blood orange and spice notes meld together in a pliant, mid-weight Margaux that will drink well right out of the gate. A fantastic du Tertre with blackberries and blueberries. Very pure fruit character in general. Stone and tea undertones. It’s full-bodied with a tight, focused tannin backbone. Excellent structure.
