Vinous (91-93)Aromas of lemon, menthol, crushed rock and ginger, plus a suggestion of spicy oak. Very rich, pliant wine with compelling sweetness and terrific energy to its flavors of crystallized lemon and lime and minerals; there's also a pear note here that reminded me of Chassagne-Montrachet. Conveys a strong impression of sappy density without weight, with the smooth, slowly mounting, gripping finish coating the palate with crunchy fruit and saline crushed-stone minerality. This assemblage of multiple parcels should make an outstanding Saint-Aubin wine. |

Vinous (94)The 2018 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru is adorned with an initially oily, almost petrolly nose that recedes to leave aromas of freshly cut lemon plus a subtle algae note. Well balanced with fine acidity, this En Remilly is very cohesive towards the finish with lingering lemon curd and orange rind. Very good length, this is a brilliant wine. |

Vinous (94)The 2019 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a clean, precise bouquet that delivers palpable energy and gains complexity in the glass, evoking memories of clambering over cockles in my seaside hometown, a briny tang in the air. The palate is very well balanced with a sapid entry, lovely weight in the mouth and hints of sour lemon on the finish that get the saliva flowing... again! Have a second bottle handy – you’ll need it. Closure: Diam |

Vinous (91)The 2020 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru comes from two parcels. This is perhaps the one cuvée that betrays a bit of exoticism on the nose: apricot and passion fruit, perhaps just eroding a bit of the terroir expression. The palate is well balanced with plenty of body, but for me this doesn't quite deliver the tension and nervosité as Lamy's other cuvées. |

Vinous - Neal Martin (93)The 2021 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru also sports some reduction on the nose like de Montille's En Remilly; however, this seems part of the wine and does not shade the mineralité or terroir profile. The palate is lively and tensile with a citric line of acidity, bright and lemony towards the quite persistent finish. This is a delicious Saint-Aubin that is bursting with energy. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. |

Vinous (91-92)(tasted from tank): Pale yellow with a green tinge. Distinctly citric aromas of lemon, lime and white flowers. Very fresh and penetrating, showing excellent density leavened by terrific lift; boasts superb limestone intensity. A subtle salinity carries through to the almost painful palate-staining finish. A real outperformer for its appellation |

Vinous (88-91)(30 hectoliters per hectare produced): Pale yellow. Brisk aromas of lemon and ginger. Then surprisingly supple in the mouth, offering captivating flavors of grilled hazelnut, spices and white pepper. The long, rising finish features strong salty minerality along with a faint hard edge that will require a long élevage. |

Wine Advocate (91-93)The 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes was showing brilliantly, soaring from the glass with notes of pear, lemon oil, wheat toast and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, it's layered and complete, with lively acids and a long, precise finish. At 13.8% alcohol, this is one of the riper wines in the cellar, yet that was imperceptible when I tased it. |

Vinous (93)The 2019 Saint-Aubin Les Frionnes 1er Cru embraces subtle tropical notes on the nose, where hints of nectarine and apricot intertwine with fine mineralité . The palate is well balanced with sour lemon and lime on the entry, spicy and quite persistent, and very harmonious on the finish. There is a lot going on here, and it is perhaps Lamy's wine that will have the widest appeal. Closure: Diam |

Wine Advocate (93)The 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes is one of the more reserved wines in the range, unwinding in the glass with aromas of orange zest, confit citrus, crisp yellow apple and white flowers. It's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with racy acids and a long, saline finish. Forget it for the better part of a decade in the cellar and reap the rewards, even if it will be approachable sooner. |

Vinous (90)A blend of 10 different parcels, the 2020 Saint-Aubin La Princée has a pretty nose of apple blossom and subtle granitic scents, focused with modest intensity. Wine Advocate (89-91)The 2016 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Gravières Blanc offers subtle traces of orange blossom and blackcurrant leaf on the nose. I suspect that it will develop more intensity by the time of bottling. The palate is brisk and saline on the entry with good acidity, very saline with a noticeable marine/iodine influence toward the satisfying finish. This is an intriguing Santenay Blanc that will be fascinating to watch evolve. |

Wine Advocate (91-93)Aromas of green apples, white flowers and wet stones introduce the 2017 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Gravières, a medium to full-bodied, searingly chalky wine with striking phenolic structure, tangy acids and a serious mineral kick on the finish. Of all the wines in the cellar, it might be this Santenay that most exemplifies Lamy's decision to pursue more dry extract in his whites. |

Vinous (89-91)The 2019 Santenay Clos des Gravières Blanc 1er Cru has a crisp saline nose, plenty of sea spray and light tangy seaweed elements here. The palate is quite closed with grapefruit and melon notes on the entry. I felt this cuvée needed some racking, which Olivier Lamy was planning soon and then it will gain a little more weight and length. But all the elements are here. It opens with aeration. |
