This is presently a block of stone that is going to need at least some patience and a wine that should repay 15+ years of cellaring. The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur is a rich, exotic rendition of this great bottling, exhibiting aromas of honeyed peach, crisp apricot and sweet spices. On the palate, it's full-bodied, powerful and layered, with a deep and ample mid-palate, concluding with a long, saline finish.
