The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc has a light but pretty nose with green apple, grass clippings and pear. The palate is well balanced, quite pithy for a Bourgogne Blanc, with good weight on the finish. A decent Bourgogne Blanc that should drink well for 3-5 years. In BondSG$231.00 -

The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc is a blend of the normal five hectares and benefited from a slightly later ripening. It has an attractive nose with apple blossom and touches of petrichor. The palate is well balanced with good substance, citrus-fresh with a tang of orange rind on the finish. A good, solid Bourgogne Blanc. In BondSG$1,025.00 -

The 2011 Meursault 1er Cru Porusot (spelled with an “s” not “z”!) comes from two parcels. It has a scintillating, vibrant mineral-driven bouquet stylistically equidistant between Puligny and Meursault. The palate is extremely well-balanced with immense precision, starting off with real race and drive and then easing back toward the finish that offers just a touch of spice. This is another superb Meursault ‘11 from Jean-Marc. Drink now-2025.In BondSG$2,195.00 -

Bright light yellow. Strong oak in evidence in the form of high-toned curry spice. Musky and sweet; the richest to this point of these 2013s, but with healthy balancing acidity. The oak adds an element of texture and complexity without overwhelming the wine's stone fruit flavors. Finishes chewy yet light on its feet. Roulot did a bit of lees stirring in 2013 at the end of the fermentations but not afterwards. In BondSG$2,105.00 -

Bright, light yellow. Stone fruits, flowers and a whiff of oak on the nose. Dense, fine-grained and energetic; quite dry and classic but the wine's oak element is currently suppressing its fruit. Finishes a bit phenolic and long.In BondSG$7,775.00 -

The 1999 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru from Jean-Marc Roulot is poured from magnum. Silvery in hue and showing little age, it has a precise, Puligny-like bouquet with subtle scents of dandelion and wet stone. The terroir really shines through here. The palate is very saline on the entry that gets the taste-buds flowing, just a hint of crème brûlée and lemon peel furnishing the clean and precise finish. I suspect that the larger format here renders this a little more youthful than in bottle, but it is still an outstanding Meursault from Roulot, one that has many years ahead. As the best examples of Perrieres always do, this just oozes class, minerality, sophistication and refinement. Powerful and explosive aromas burst from the glass yet there is nothing heavy or forced and the flavors display awesome intensity as this just etches itself into the palate and stains it as well. The length was so good that I could taste this the next morning and the complexity is literally stunning. Another genuinely great Roulot Perrieres. In BondSG$9,760.00 -

Bright pale yellow. Soft citrus fruits and crushed rock on the musky, slightly reduced nose. Rich, perfumed and tightly coiled, with a terrific core of acidity intensifying the orange, floral and mineral flavors. Offers compelling cut and concentration but this infant will require several years of aging. Wonderfully refined Perrieres of grand cru class. In BondSG$2,880.00
