Mid crimson colour, fine weight of strawberry fruit, absolutely fills the middle of the mouth, with quite a persistent finish. Clearly their preferred wine of the two whereas I fractionally prefer Champeaux. Both are very good indeed in 2025. |

The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, harmonious and candied with finer tannin than the Mazoyères-Chambertin that one used to find with Bertrand Maume's wines, blessed with superb salinity and precision on the finish.
