Medium red. Deep, expressive, vibrant nose offers raspberry, cherry, smoky minerality, mocha and spices, plus a whiff of tobacco. Fat, silky and very rich; a real fruit bomb in the mouth but with superb sappy depth. Sweet and seamless in the mouth, with outstanding intensity and purity of red fruit, floral, spice and mineral flavors. It has an elegant and composed bouquet that is perhaps the most harmonious of all the domaine's 2015s—pure red cherry, strawberry and cranberry scents infused with cold stone aromas. The palate is beautifully composed, beautifully delineated and damn well beautiful to drink. There is amazing energy here and outstanding sustain in the mouth. The palate is medium-bodied with a sorbet-fresh opening; veins of orange peel and marmalade tincture the dark berry fruit, and a tang of oyster shell emerges toward the precise finish. Pretty medium red. Fresh raspberry and mineral aromas. Pliant and sweet in the mouth, with a succulent quality. Very red fruit in character, in the style of the Chatelots, but with minerality accentuated by the wine's firm acidity. A bit tighter than usual for this cuvee, and developing slowly.
