Vinous (96)Dana's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard offers an attractive combination of the primary intensity of the year allied to the natural structure of Howell Mountain. Inky, deep and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2015 Hershey is super expressive today. Graphite, menthol, plum, lavender and pencil shavings add shades of nuance, and yet the intensity of the fruit dominates. I won't be surprised to see the 2015 grow even more in bottle. This is a terrific showing from the 2015 Hershey. |

Vinous (89-92)(Duband owns 1.2 hectares in this premier cru--out of the 7 that came to him and his financial partner François Feuillet when they purchased Domaine Truchot-Martin from Jacky Truchot after the 2005 vintage): Bright red-ruby. Quintessential Morey aromas of black fruits, crushed cherry, mocha, brown spices and earth. A distinctly plush, round yet dry wine with excellent breadth and strong medicinal black fruit reserve. This fruit is always picked very early, noted Duband, and the wine normally needs time to fill in, but this 2015 already demonstrates lovely texture and depth. Finishes with ripe, building tannins. |

Wine Advocate (96-98)The 2015 Chateau de Fargues delivers 153 grams per liter of residual sugar at 13.8% alcohol. It has a complex bouquet with honey, marmalade and quince aromas that are beautifully defined, but will clearly take a few years to reach their full potential. The palate is very sensual on the entry, honeyed and lavish at the beginning, but retaining wonderful precision and persistence on the lightly spiced finish. This is a seriously good de Fargues that should age effortlessly over the next 30-40 years. As usual, this is one for the serious Sauternes-lovers who know that good things come to those that wait. |

Vinous (94-97)(100% vendange entier; 60% new oak): Bright dark red. Knockout discreet nose combines raspberry, Oriental spices, rose petal and flinty minerality. Extremely intense in the mouth, with its youthfully imploded flavors of raspberry and saline minerality conveying outstanding definition and energy. The longest of these 2015s so far, finishing with noble building tannins and lovely red berry, spice and crushed-stone perfume. This wine struck me as higher-pitched and redder in its fruit character than the 2014 version at the same stage. Sieve noted that the estate's highest 18 rows of vines on hard limestone give this wine an edginess that's not found in the Christiane cuvée. |

Vinous - Antonio Galloni (93)The 2015 de Pez is dark, powerful and super-inviting. A rush of black cherry, plum, chocolate, gravel and smoke run though this gorgeous, delineated Saint Estèphe. Today, the Pez is virile, tannic and imposing, with noble character and personality to burn. The 2015 has really grown since I last tasted it. This is superb effort for the vintage, but my impression is that the best is yet to come for this chateau, where quality continues to grow. The 2015 is 51% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. |

Wine Advocate (88)A full range of fruits can be seen with the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon. Red, black and blue fruit are all present on the nose, with oak tones hiding in the back as well as subtle earth and cigar box aromas. Medium to full-bodied in the mouth, dark cherry, cassis and juicy blueberry glide across the mid-palate, showing integrated soft, earthy aromas of leather and inorganic rock, ending with a long finish. This is a pleasing and structured Cabernet with a focused balance. The wine spent 22 months in oak barrels, 35% new. 8,040 bottles were made. |

Vinous (92)The 2015 Syrah 393 includes 10% whole bunch fruit and was matured for 12 months in 40% new fine-grain French oak with a light toasting, and then transferred into used oak for another nine months. It has a very attractive bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, crushed violet and vanilla scents that are pure and opulent. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, and quite harmonious and smooth, delivering good density while not compromising on fruit. This is still quite backward and deserves another couple of years in bottle, but there is good potential here. |

Wine Advocate (97)With only about 100 cases produced each year, finding a bottle of the 2015 Cote Rotie la Landonne will prove much harder than drinking it. It's indeed a terrific wine but a bit closed and cedary at this particular moment, the 40% new oak standing out on the nose. But this cuvée has a long track record of excellence, so expect it to blossom with time in the cellar. It's concentrated and powerful but amazingly light on its feet, with firm, ample tannins that manage to convey a sense of ripeness as well. Tar, black olive, cassis and espresso elements all speak to the grape (100% Syrah) and the single lieu-dit origin. |

Jeb Dunnuck (100)The top cuvée from Delas is the 2015 Hermitage Les Bessards, and it's always 100% Syrah from the steep, broken granite soils of the Bessards lieu-dit. Aged 18 months in 30% new barrels, its purple/plum color is followed by a huge nose of blackcurrants, graphite, toasted spice, crushed rocks and saddle leather. Powerful, massively concentrated, and tannic, it has a broad, expansive, heavenly texture, a thick mid-palate (you could almost use a fork for this beauty), and a great finish. Despite the richness level, it stays balanced and graceful on the palate, and is never over the top or heavy. It's a perfect Hermitage that will start to shine with 4-5 years of bottle age and keep for three decades or more. Bravo! |

Wine Advocate (93)The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux has a very precise bouquet: cranberry, wild strawberry and cold slate aromas that feel very focused...aromas with intent! The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a crisp line of acidity, a mixture of red and black fruit here infused with blood orange and tangy Seville orange marmalade towards a feisty finish. There is superb length here. It is a really wonderful Les Corbeaux for long-term ageing. |

Wine Advocate (94+)The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques from Domaine Denis Mortet is superb—and further confirmation that this is a wonderful vintage for the Lavaux Saint-Jacques, opening in the glass with a wonderful bouquet of sweet cassis, cherries, rich soil and wood smoke which is still quite youthfully fruit-driven. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and layered, with an authoritative chassis of rich, velvety tannins cloaked in succulent fruit, and a long, sapid finish. This is an ample, even lavish Lavaux Saint-Jacques that nonetheless remains precise and controlled, fully realizing the potential of the vintage. |

Vinous (92)Bright, dark red. Superripe-verging-on-liqueur-like but with lovely perfumed lift to its cherry, red berry and dark chocolate aromas. Wonderfully dense, sappy, concentrated wine with serious medicinal reserve and surprising framing acidity to its deep core of dark fruit, mineral and spice flavors. As ripe as this is, it does not pass into surmaturité. Finishes with substantial ripe, dusty tannins and terrific length. A splendid village wine with the density and depth to age. |

Wine Advocate (91-93)The 2015 Marsannay les Longeroies was completely de-stemmed and matured in 20% new oak. It offers darker fruit than the Fixin, perhaps more introspective at the moment with touches of dried herbs and tobacco infusing the fruit. Vinous (92)Deutz’s 2015 Brut Millésimé William Deutz La Côte Glacière is redolent of chalk, white pepper, mint, citrus and ripe pear. A wine of notable aromatic brightness, the Côte Glacière exudes tons of mineral inflections. Linear, bold and explosive in its sheer power, the Côte Glacière is wonderfully finessed and precise within the context of the year. There are no strong vegetal 2015 notes here. Vinous (91)The 2015 Brut Millésimé William Deutz Meurtet is pretty tightly wound at this stage. It will be interesting to see what time brings here. Like so many 2015s, the Meurtet is marked by slight vegetal notes that are likely to become more pronounced over time. Because of that, I would prefer to drink it on the young side, even if the wine is not especially forthcoming. Dried pear, brioche, sage and mint linger. Texturally, the 2015 is a very pretty wine. Only the slightly clenched finish and that vegetal quality give me reason to pause. |

Vinous (89)Pale gold-tinged yellow. Slightly musky, subdued scents of pineapple and fig. Broad, plush and dry, conveying serious palate presence and a suggestion of spicy oak that gives the finish a bit of phenolic firmness. A rather uncompromising Chenin Blanc, notable more for its texture than for its lift or fruit definition. |

Platter’s Wine Guide (94)4.5* Naturally fermented fruit (as all) from 4 Mont Fleur and Keermont parcels. Fine tannin structure for intense bramble fruit, plum pudding spice from 19 months in 35% new oak. Beautiful balance and great prospects. Also showed great freshness. Unfined and unfiltered. |

Vinous (93)Dark purple. Expansive aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, smoky Indian spices and olive, with a suave floral nuance that gains strength with air. Deeply concentrated but energetic as well, offering palate-staining blueberry and violet pastille flavors and building spiciness. Rounded tannins add gentle grip to a strikingly long penetrating finish that clings with strong tenacity. |

The palate is well balanced with sappy black fruit and fine salinity. There is plenty of energy conveyed by this Marsannay with wonderful precision and freshness on the finish. Wonderful. |

Even so, I would prefer to drink it on the early side, just to be on the safe side. |
