Selection with Condition Photos
At Cru World Wine, we understand that bottle condition is crucial when it comes to purchasing wine, especially when buying back vintage wines. That's why we've created our "Selection with Condition Photos" page - a curated selection of wines that includes detailed photos of each bottle, so you can make an informed decision before making a purchase. Our photos show the condition of the bottle, including any signs of wear or damage, giving you the confidence to make an informed purchase decision.

Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (90-93)Expressive, musky aromas of peach, lime, quinine, white flowers and spices. Fat, chewy and very rich, with more depth of flavor than the foregoing 2003 samples. The captivating floral quality carries through in the mouth. A distinctly palate-coating wine with excellent stuffing and length. |

Wine Spectator (93)A ripe swath of lime, persimmon, butterscotch and spice notes mark this lush white. It's immediate, with a bright structure, yet remains extremely long and persistent. The finish is its best feature now. Drink now through 2018. 190 cases imported. -BS |

Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (97)Fresh pale primrose. The bouquet is undeveloped at first but shows promise. A little bit of sulphur checks the back of the throat. Really fine intensity, white fruit, a touch of greengage, untogether at the moment but with fine potential. Indeed, there is immense potential, this may be the most concentrated wine of the day. In fact, for me the wine of the whole four day tasting event. DIAM closure. |

Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (87-90)Pale, green-tinged color. Perfumed, fresh aromas of peach and flowers, with a hint of fresh herbs. Spicy, peachy and quite dry, with sound balancing acidity. A bit tart-edged today, and perhaps somewhat hardened by the gas, but nicely persistent. |

Vinous (90-91)(still in tank): Bright pale yellow. Pure, subtle aromas of peach, lemon, floral oils and spices. Silky, suave and gentle but with excellent density for village wine. Quite laid-back today, with good mineral tension from start to finish. Finishes long and youthfully tight, and noticeably less sweetness than the very promising Bourgogne Blanc (also in tank) that preceded it in my tasting. |

Wine Advocate (90-92)The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village wafts from the glass with notes of lemon rind, pastry cream, white flowers and a light framing of smoky reduction. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and vibrant, with tangy acids, lovely purity and an elegant, precise profile. I suspect it will further gain in depth and dimension with additional élevage. |

Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (92)5-Star Wine Just bottled at the end of April. Made from the usual six plots. A pale lemon yellow. The nose has been knocked back a bit and is not yet showing much fruit. Then a little white fruit starts to emerge with some graphite, and a little bit of gunflint. Racy yet ripe with several layers of flavour and excellent length, the acidity perfectly wound in. On the assumption that the bouquet comes back as it should a little later on, after getting over the bottling, this will surely be a 5 star wine |

Wine Advocate (87-89)The solitary white from Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, the 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru le Cailleret from 0.72-hectare of vine, has a light and slightly smudged bouquet that needs a touch more nervosité. The palate is smooth on the entry, quite creamy in texture with hints of pineapple and pralines, gently rolling out to a rounded, harmonious finish. Probably earlier drinking than it deserves. |
