One of the most modern and forwarrd thinking producers in the Ribera del Duero (and that's saying something),Villacreces has managed to consistently produce incredible value wines that are elegant, polished and full of flavour. Robert Parker has long been a fan of the wines of Finca Villacreces (as have we at Cru!), and last year he named their 2013 Pruno - a classic Ribera de Duero red blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon - among his ‘best value buys’ and ‘best new releases’ of 2015, scoring it an exceptional (wait until you see the price!) 93 points.
