Ca' La Bionda
About Ca'La Bionda
Founded in 1902 by Pietro Castellani, the estate of Ca’ la Bionda (loosely translated to “House of the Blonde”) is located in the commune of Marano di Valpolicella, right smack in the middle of the classic zone of Valpolicella. Covering 29 hectares, its vineyards sit at an altitude ranging between 150m to 300m.
The most prized of which is the Ravazzol Cru. Sitting on volcanic soils with vines over 70 years old, the 7-hectare Ravazzol Cru is considered to be the finest site in the area.
