  • Clinet 2021 (6x75cl)

    Decanter (95)

An exceptional Clinet in 2021. Richly scented, dark and roguish, a touch of sour cherry and perfume to the nose. Round, supple, generous and vibrant on the palate - this has a lifeforce to it with nuance of red berry flavour and real persistency as well as juicy acidity. I love the upfront nature of this and the really quite vivid and expressive red fruits while the background gives the savoury, menthol, liquorice notes offering depth and wideness - lots of terroir and grape markers in the glass - particularly the high percentage (25%) of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. Tannins are firm and supportive with the overall freshness lifting the frame, delivering a full mouthfeel with a density of tannins and black fruit that doesn't dip. Well worked and presented. A touch of wood on the finish but subtle and supportive. You also get the florality all the way through which is just so appealing. Supremely well worked, charming but also confident - I absolutely love it and it clearly stood out every time tasting it - four times in total. 45,000 bottles made, same production as 2020.

  • Clinet 2022 (12x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (98)

The Grand Vin from this terrific Pomerol estate, the 2022 Château Clinet checks in as 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 19 months in 80% new barrels. It's a beautiful Pomerol that clearly ranks with the greats from this address, offering a vivid purple hue, classic notes of cassis, leather, graphite, and black cherries, full-bodied richness, and a layered, seamless mouthfeel. It's another remarkable 2022 that brings the richness and depth of the vintage while staying light on its feel and flawlessly balanced. It has plenty of upfront appeal even today, yet there's ample structure here as well, and it's going to evolve beautifully over the coming 30 years or more.

  • Clinet 2023 (12x75cl)
    (12x75cl) 2023

    Vinous - Antonio Galloni (96)

The 2023 Clinet is fabulous. It is one of the most refined, silky Clinets I can remember tasting. Cool blue-toned fruit, lavender, spice, mocha and rose petal caress the palate. The balance here is just sublime. The 2023 feels a bit less heavy and oaky than some previous editions, very much a positive in my view.

    Vinous - Antonio Galloni (90)

The 2012 Clos Badon is bold, dark and enticing, with striking aromatics to match the intense, voluptuous fruit. Black cherry, plum, crème de cassis and sweet spices are laced together in an open-knit, supple Saint Emilion with tons of near-term appeal. One of the hidden gems of the vintage, the Clos Badon should drink well for at least another handful of years. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

  • Clos Brusquieres Chateauneuf Du Pape 2010 (12x75cl)

The prestigious Clos Brusquieres Chateauneuf Du Pape 2010 is a fine embodiment of expert winemaking. Nestled in the heart of the Southern Rhône Valley of France, this exquisite wine is a craft of the Courtil-Thibaut Family, whose winemaking lineage traces back to the 18th century. An alluring blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre old vines, the 2010 vintage has matured exceptionally in French oak foudres, delivering an impeccable balance of body and complexity.

The Clos Brusquieres Chateauneuf Du Pape 2010 tantalises the palate with rich, layered flavours of black fruits, oriental spices, and garrigue. Its luscious, full-bodied profile is anchored by graceful, but profound tannins, leading to an impressively long finish. This vinous artwork is deserving of its accolades and recognition. As such, it is a must-have for those who appreciate the depth and elegance of magnificently crafted Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

  • Clos Cantenac 2019 (12x75cl)
    (12x75cl) 2019

    Vinous - Neal Martin (92-94)

The 2019 Clos Cantenac comes from the 6-hectare vineyard owned by Martin Krajewski (see Château Séraphine in Pomerol). This instantly displays commendable breeding on the nose thanks to its detailed scents of black cherries mingling with pressed iris and allspice. The palate feels cohesive and prioritizes elegance over horsepower. Modest grip with cracked black pepper and dark chocolate surface alongside black plum and salted liquorice towards the persistent finish. This is the finest Clos Cantenac that I have encountered from barrel. 8,000 bottles produced.
  • Clos Cantenac 2020 (6x75cl)
    (6x75cl) 2020

    Vinous - Neal Martin (91)

The 2020 Clos Cantenac has an intense nose with blackberry and blueberry notes, and that camphor scent remains tangible. The palate is simple but offers attractive pencil lead touches that impart complexity and personality. One could argue that it's a bit disheveled on the finish, where you would seek more precision. Otherwise, this is a commendable Saint-Émilion that should be granted three to four years in bottle. It punches just a notch above expectations.
  • Clos Cantenac 2022 (6x75cl)

    Jane Anson Inside Bordeaux (93)

Full of creamy blackberry and damson fruit, well judged waves of sage and rosemary, cracked pepper and smoked vanilla bean. Well balanced, fragrant and attractive. Good stuff. Owner Martin Krajewski, winemaker Charlotte Krajewski.

  • Clos de Bouard 2017 (12x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (92)

The grand vin, the 2017 Chateau Clos de Bouard is all Merlot brought up in a mix of new and French oak. Its ruby hue is followed by a medium-bodied, delicious, juicy effort that has beautiful elegance, medium-bodied richness and depth, fine tannins, and great aromatics. It's not a blockbuster, but it’s straight-up classy. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.

  • Clos de Bouard 2018 (12x75cl)

    Vinous - Neal Martin (91)

The 2018 Clos de Boüard has a generous, ripe bouquet of blackberry, boysenberry and light violet aromas that all gain intensity with aeration. The palate is ripe and quite extracted on the entry. A powerful Montagne Saint-Émilion with grippy tannins, though it needs a little more amplitude toward the finish, which feels strict and linear. It does open up with aeration and should come around with 2–3 years in bottle.

  • Clos de Bouard 2019 (6x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (93)

I love the purity and freshness in the 2019 Château Clos De Boüard, which offers textbook Merlot notes of black cherries, black raspberries, cedarwood, and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows the style of the vintage nicely, has a great mid-palate, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It's well worth seeking out and will evolve for 10-15 years, if not longer.

  • Clos de l'Oratoire 1997 (12x75cl)
    (12x75cl) 1997

    Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (89-90)

Good deep ruby. Complex, sauvage aromas of black raspberry, smoked meat and leather. Soft, sweet and expressive; shows a considerably stronger animal aspect than either Canon La Gaffeliere or Mondotte, Stephan von Neipperg other St. Emilion wines. Quite suave and fresh for the year. Finishes long and ripely tannic. Half of this wine was fermented in wood cuves, which von Neipperg feels has resulted in a more successful integration of the tannins.
  • Clos de l'Oratoire 2000 (12x75cl)
    (12x75cl) 2000

    Wine Advocate (92)

Ripe, well-made, and slightly over-rated in my report written seven years ago, this 2000 exhibits lots of black currants, cherries, smoked herbs, and spice in a full-bodied, round, generous, fully mature style. Delicious at present, it should drink well for another 5-7 years.
  • Clos de l'Oratoire 2001 (1x75cl)
    (1x75cl) 2001

    Wine Advocate (90)

A terrific sleeper value, Stephan von Neipperg’s 2001 Clos de l’Oratoire boasts a deep blue/purple color as well as a rich nose of melted licorice, espresso roast, black currants, minerals, smoke, and earth. This opulent, medium-bodied St.-Emilion exhibits abundant quantities of fruit and glycerin along with a fleshy, ripe, expansive finish with no hard edges. Some tannin lurks beneath the surface, but this is a beautiful wine to drink now and over the next 10-12 years.
