A blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, it offers awesome notes of blueberries, crushed rocks, and loamy earth. One of the more full-bodied, opulent efforts out there, it has sweet tannin, moderate acidity, and a great, great finish in a deep, layered, incredibly impressive style. It should drink well for 15+ years. |

Cassis, black cherries, loamy earth, chalky mineral, and dried flower notes all emerge from the glass, and this beauty is medium to full -bodied, has flawless balance, plenty of silky tannins, and a great, great finish. It's stunning stuff that will benefit from 5-7 years of bottle age and cruise for 25-30 years in cold cellars. |

While Maltus’s Le Dôme gets most of the attention, I continue to just love this wine, and it shines in 2020 with both beautiful fruit and ample structure as well as one heck of a great finish. I’m not sure this will match the 2018 or 2019, but we’re certainly in the same ballpark, with the style being much closer to the more elegant 2019. |
