Margaux
Margaux, the largest AOC in Médoc, is a significant wine appellation in Bordeaux with 20 Cru Classé properties from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, more than any other Left Bank AOCs. The region is home to the world-renowned Château Margaux, along with other blue-chip wineries like Château Palmer and Château Rauzan Ségla. Margaux's soils have a high gravel content, offering excellent drainage and low nutrient levels compared to Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. This unique terroir produces refined and elegant wines that are distinct from other regions of Bordeaux.
We are proud to offer a diverse selection of Margaux wines, each with its own unique character and flavor profile. From the rich and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon blends to the silky and smooth Merlot-dominant wines, our Margaux wines are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Experience the elegance and refinement of Margaux wines today. Browse our selection and discover why Margaux is considered one of the greatest wine appellations in the world.

The dark and serious fruit here is less exuberant than some and heads towards a more intellectual take on the vintage, possibly due to the concentrating effect of the 25hl/ha yields, a result of mildew and the summer heat. It has great persistency and spice, although the aromatics take a while to reveal themselves. The fresh acidity suggests this is going to age extremely well.Inc. GSTSG$301.61 -
