Margaux
Margaux, the largest AOC in Médoc, is a significant wine appellation in Bordeaux with 20 Cru Classé properties from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, more than any other Left Bank AOCs. The region is home to the world-renowned Château Margaux, along with other blue-chip wineries like Château Palmer and Château Rauzan Ségla. Margaux's soils have a high gravel content, offering excellent drainage and low nutrient levels compared to Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. This unique terroir produces refined and elegant wines that are distinct from other regions of Bordeaux.
We are proud to offer a diverse selection of Margaux wines, each with its own unique character and flavor profile. From the rich and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon blends to the silky and smooth Merlot-dominant wines, our Margaux wines are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Experience the elegance and refinement of Margaux wines today. Browse our selection and discover why Margaux is considered one of the greatest wine appellations in the world.

The 2020 Dauzac has a harmonious black cherry, boysenberry and cedar bouquet, touches of iodine and violets emerging with aeration; this nose has a lot of panache. The palate is medium-bodied and quit dense, offering supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and superb mineralité and breeding on the finish, which is almost pixelated in style. This is an outstanding Margaux from the Dauzac team, one that punches above its weight.Inc. GSTSG$401.08 -

Château Desmirail looks to have turned out a sensational wine in the vintage, and their 2017 offers a forward, already irresistible style as well as loads of spicy red and black fruits, incense and spice aromas, and flavors. I love its purity of fruit, it has medium-bodied richness, and ripe tannin. Drink it on release and over the following 10-15 years.Inc. GSTSG$738.98 -
Vinous - Neal Martin (93)
The 2018 Desmirail impressed out of barrel. Now bottled, it still represents one of the best vintages that I have tasted from this Margaux estate. Gorgeous blackberry and raspberry scents feature on the nose, the new oak supportive and beautifully enmeshed. The palate is very well balanced with supple tannins, a keen line of acidity and a chalky-textured finish that is extremely well focused. This is a great success for Denis Lurton and his team. Tasted twice with consistent notes.Inc. GSTSG$779.13 -

Spicy oak, ripe black cherries, and floral nuances emerge from the 2022 Château Desmirail, a medium-bodied, elegant, seamless Margaux offering polished tannins, just about flawless balance, and a great finish. It's beautifully done and well worth seeking out. If it picks up weight with 2-4 years in the cellar, the score will seem low. The 2022 is 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.Inc. GSTSG$805.29 -

The 2016 Deyrem Valentin is soft, plush and inviting. Dark cherry, chocolate, new leather, licorice and spice are pushed forward in a silky, supple Margaux that offers tremendous near and medium term appeal. The 2017 Deyrem Valentin has come together nicely during élevage. It remains a bit light in body, and yet all the elements are very nicely balanced throughout. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry fruit, mint, sweet tobacco and cedar add nuance throughout. There is a lot to like in this approachable, mid-weight Margaux.Inc. GSTSG$599.28 -
