There is a soupçon of broodiness here although it does open nicely on the palate with pretty dried apricot and Clementine notes. Rich, spicy and concentrated, with its stone fruit and citrus flavors accented by clove and anise notes. A fairly large-scaled premier cru but not at all heavy, thanks to its stony underpinning and adamant dryness.
