I also loved the 2016 Pinot Noir Arrendell Vineyard. Located in the Russian River and planted in 1975 to a heritage Martini Clone, this cool site struggles to ripen, giving this 2016 an exotic, complex, vibrant style along with its ample red and black fruits, candied violets, potpourri, and sandalwood. It’s one of the more vibrant, racier wines in the lineup, yet its acidity is nicely integrated, it’s flawlessly balanced, and it has a great, great finish. Give bottles a year or two and enjoy over the following decade.Inc. GSTSG$910.59 -

The 2018 Pinot Noir Far Coast Vineyard comes from a site not far from the Pacific Ocean, in the Sonoma Coast AVA, and it's one of the bigger, richer wines in the lineup in 2018. Deeper ruby-hued, with a stunning nose of ripe mulberries, Bing cherries, candied strawberries, spring flowers, and orange blossom, this is a spicy, medium to full-bodied, impressively concentrated Pinot Noir. Despite being from a cooler vineyard, it brings plenty of richness and sexy fruit, with a certain exotic character. I've always loved this cuvée (although I've always thought the Chardonnay was slightly more successful), but this might be the finest vintage I've tasted to date. Count me impressed. It's going to have 10-15 years of prime drinking. It's one of the finest Pinot Noirs in this report.Inc. GSTSG$1,263.75 -

The 2018 Chardonnay Seascape Vineyard was 100% barrel fermented in French oak barrels, 26% new, and aged for 14 months. Medium-bodied, the palate is very crisp, intense and pure with loads of citrus and stone-inspired flavors, finishing very long and zesty. The 2015 Haut-Condissas had been bottled a week before my visit. That said, there does not appear to be too much bottle shock, and there are lovely black cherry, cassis fruit tinged with incense and violets. The oak is neatly integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, an attractive saline note that lends this 2015 sappiness and neatly counterbalances the concentration of the vintage. I appreciate the focus here and the nascent energy, a Haut-Condissas that should easily give 20+ years of pleasure. Tasted at the Haut-Condissas vertical at the property.Inc. GSTSG$411.41 -

Give bottles a year or two and enjoy over the following decade. In BondSG$776.00 -

It's one of the finest Pinot Noirs in this report. In BondSG$1,100.00 -

Readers looking for an incredibly charming, delicious Pinot Noir that’s going to deliver the goods should check out the 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley from Hartford Court. Revealing a translucent ruby/plum color, it has a wonderful nose of spiced red and black fruits, candied violets, orange blossom, and incense. Medium-bodied on the palate, it’s wonderfully balanced, with soft, supple tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. Drink this beauty any time over the coming 5-6 years. In BondSG$360.00 -

The 2018 Chardonnay Seascape Vineyard was 100% barrel fermented in French oak barrels, 26% new, and aged for 14 months. It needs a little coaxing to reveal restrained notes of lemon meringue pie, lime leaves, struck flint and wet pebbles with touches of coriander seed, orange blossoms and yuzu zest. Medium-bodied, the palate is very crisp, intense and pure with loads of citrus and stone-inspired flavors, finishing very long and zesty. This tight-knit beauty is going to be incredible in another year or two and will drink well for at least 10+ years. 270 cases were made.In BondSG$895.00 -

The 2019 Chardonnay Stone Côte was barrel fermented and matured for 14 months in 35% new French oak. It's an incredibly intense, expressive iteration with continually unfurling aromas of candied lemon, crushed stone, dried herbs, orange blossom and beeswax. The 2016 Hartford Court Chardonnay Jennifer’s Vineyard displays intense notes of grapefruit, green guava, mango and pineapple with nuances of talc, oyster shells and fresh ginger. The palate is medium-bodied, elegant and super intense with tightly wound layers of citrus and tropical fruits and bags of mineral notions on the epically long finish. This needs time but should emerge from the cellar gloriously in 2-3 years! 337 cases produced. In BondSG$663.00 -

Tasted at the Haut-Condissas vertical at the property. In BondSG$322.00 -

The 2016 Haut Condissas has an opulent bouquet with crème de cassis, blueberry and light truffle scents that emerge with time. The palate is sweet on the entry but there is plenty of structure here, grippy in the mouth with cedar and tobacco infused dense black fruit on the finish. This will require a couple of years in bottle but there is clearly potential here.In BondSG$312.00 -

This wine reveals an element of jammy black currant fruit intermixed with dried roasted herbs, sweet earthy smells, and new oak.
