Emitting a sublime allure, the Latour a Pomerol 1981 is a magnificently matured Merlot offering from the Bordeaux region of France. Cultivated by the venerable Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix vineyard, this venerated vintage exhibits an opulent blend of black fruit and truffle, underpinned by tertiary notes of cigar box and forest floor. Ageing in French oak barrels, extended maceration, and meticulous selection have lent this wine an inimitable structure and a peerless depth of flavour. The vineyards' clay and gravel soils endow the Latour a Pomerol 1981 with an exceptional minerality and refined tannins.
