Taking a deeper shade of ruby red, the 2020 Barolo Cannubi is expressive on the nose, with ripe red cherries, a hint of cola spice, pressed roses, and fresh rosemary. Medium-bodied, it has very nice, even balance on the palate, with refined tannins and even acidity leading into a savory and earthy finish. It’s very nicely detailed and will do well over the next 12-15 years.Inc. GSTSG$565.08 -

Coming from Verduno, the 2020 Barolo Monvigliero is a bright red/ruby color and offers an expressive, rosy perfume of cranberries, dusty earth, and delicate spices. Medium-bodied, it’s very elegant and graceful on the palate’ with fine tannins, clean, evenly balanced acidity, and a nicely tapered finish. It’s quite appealing now but should have a solid 6-8 years ahead of it.Inc. GSTSG$573.78
