Flagship Blanc des Blancs' have become some of the most sought-after releases in recent years so it is a pleasure to be able to offer today this iconic estates most legendary and eagerly pursued special cuvée, Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires Brut 2006.

A Blanc des Millénaires release is a rare and special occasion. The 2006 is only the sixth vintage ever produced since it was first conceived back in 1983. Scoring double 96 points from both Decanter and the Wine Spectator and 94 points from the Wine Advocate, this 'crystalline and very pure' Blanc des Blancs is 'delicate and yet opulent at the same time' (DC). With a rich profile of 'grilled nut, brioche and spice character alongside classic flavors of poached apricot, kumquat, oyster shell and lemon blossom' (WS) the Blanc des Millénaires 2006 is drinking superbly now but has another 15 years of life ahead of it.

Alongside it's limited releases, Charles Heidsieck make it even rare by only producing it in very small quantities in comparison to it's Grandes Marques Blanc des Blancs rivals, with only 4,500 cases being made of the 2006 vintage.

This exceptionally textured cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay from five of the finest Crus in the Côte des Blancs. These wines have been carefully selected for their ability to evolve and express their full richness: Oger for its structure, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for its finesse and minerality, Avize for its lushness, Cramant for its complexity and Vertus for its lustre and floral notes. After 13 years of ageing in their remarkable UNESCO World Heritage listed cellars, Blanc des Millénaires 2006 shows unparalleled complexity and texture.
