Trapiche Iscay range
If one had to compare Trapiche to Old World equivalents in some respects, perhaps Il Poggione or Marchesi Antinori would come to mind. Trapiche is the largest producer in Argentina with a prestigious history dating back to 1883. This estate, recently voted as “New World Winery of the Year 2019” by Wine Enthusiast magazine, offers Argentinian wines of exceptional quality in healthy volumes.
Apart from the ‘Terroir Series’ which represents the finest Malbec terroir in Mendoza, the ‘Iscay range’ is one of the crowning achievements of this winery - the perfect marriage between art and science. An icon of Trapiche, jointly crafted by Marcelo Belmonte (agricultural engineer) and Daniel Pi (chief winemaker), the Iscay series delivers the best balance possible between terroir, varietal and winemaking style.
