Selection with Condition Photos
At Cru World Wine, we understand that bottle condition is crucial when it comes to purchasing wine, especially when buying back vintage wines. That's why we've created our "Selection with Condition Photos" page - a curated selection of wines that includes detailed photos of each bottle, so you can make an informed decision before making a purchase. Our photos show the condition of the bottle, including any signs of wear or damage, giving you the confidence to make an informed purchase decision.

Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (94+)Very closed chalky, minerally nose. Even less forthcoming than the Riesling Frédéric Emile , and much harder to taste today. Quite dense and tactile. Then very long and ripe on the firm finish; conveys an impression of crunchy, minerally austerity. |

Jancis Robinson (18+)Masses of evolution on the nose. Very firm and with so much spine and structure rather than fruit! Very youthful. This should make great old bones – eventually. Very long and for the moment it’s all on the finish. |

Vinous (88)(16% alcohol with 38 g/l r.s.) Full orange color; looks like a pinot gris SGN! Idiosyncratic, extreme aromas of toffee, roasted coffee bean, porcini and earth; smells a bit like Tokaj. Extravagantly ripe, high-toned flavors of smoke, mushroom, toffee and coffee, plus a note of plum liqueur. Powerful more than sweet, with the wine's surprisingly firm acidity and salty minerality not yet in harmony with its fruit flavors. In fact, where is the fruit? Finishes long and warm, with notes of marzipan and walnut. An oddball-and not for the faint of heart. |
