Armand Rousseau

Domaine Armand Rousseau is considered one of the greatest domaines in all of Burgundy dating back to founder Armand’s decision to eschew the prevailing Burgundy negociant system of the 18th and 19th century in favour of bottling his own domaine wines in the 1930s. The domaine has since been succeeded by son Charles in 1959 and later to grandson Eric who looks after the estate today. The domaine has 14 hectares in Gevrey-Chambertin with their Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Beze and Gevrey Chambertin Clos St Jacques considered their crowning achievements.
